"Detail" tends to have the most dominance, and some pieces typically are completely covered by "Detail", useful if you want solid color sections on your creature. "Coat" has the least dominance in Outfitter parts, unlike Creature parts. Captain parts, however, do use Base paint, which can be either be helpful or unhelpful depending on if you like using the Captain Outfitter or the Space Outfitter. The only Creature parts 100% not affected by paint mode are the antler weapon pieces and the insect limb default hand.įor Outfitter parts, "Base" does not affect them whatsoever, the only outlier being the "Aloe Haira" tribal hat, where it has a small shade in the center. Base and Detail paint templates can also add layers and patterns to your limbs, useful if you want your Creature to look like its wearing gloves or something. (99% of the time it is close enough that it blends in smoothly). This is useful to remember as sometimes the body of your creature wont match the base color of a part. No matter what styles or shades you use when picking a Base, Coat, or Detail template, it will not change the color tone of the part. Coat and Detail shades and styles also do not effect the parts, but can add additional styles to your base body, such as stripes. "Detail" colors specific portions of specific parts, such as the pupils for eye parts or the tips of most detail parts.īase paint offers a variety of shades, but these shades do not effect the individual parts. The "Coat" will typically blend into most parts, giving them a shade. the spore bot parts are (kind of) available now. It will also fully color the back of all creature parts so it blends into the body. The "Base" color fully envelopes the limbs and main spine(the body). It may be essential that you know how creature coloring works in Spore. Each color display can only hold so many parts, so they will be grouped. We will repeat the process once again for outfitter parts. When finished, go to the Mod tab, press Pack on the second language NameGenerator and replace the \Data\Locale\yourlanguage\NameGeneration.package with the new one.We will be starting with creature parts, from top left to bottom right in the editor, starting with mouth pieces.Copy all the names in the file and replace the others. Within # is the information of the different names.In the second, do the same with the renamed NameGenerator.In the first, go to the Mod tab, open the NameGenerator of the other language, press Unpack, go to the Files tab, expand the folder named #0461227D and click on #.Rename NameGeneration.package to a different name.Go into the copied folder of the selected language. ![]()
